The trees are up! I can't believe I almost skipped out on decorating this year especially since the kids are the perfect age to appreciate it all. They are loving the Christmas season. They hover around our mini tree and poke at the ornaments on the big tree. Julien even caused the mini tree to fall over on top of him from fussing with it too much. No harm done to either the tree or the boy.

Still need to:
  • find that box in the basement that has our Christmas stockings
  • get our Christmas playlist going
  • bake (for the smell of fresh cookies in our home)
  • buy candles that smell like Christmas for when there's no baking

We love Andrew's wallets.  My favourite is the one specially made for us out of a metro map pamphlet when he and Sarah were visiting us in Montreal (or visiting Montreal...and us).
This one's cool too.  It's called the Le Mustache Wallet.
And Sherri's hosting her first giveaway featuring these wallets on her new fashion blog, SHERRIAMOUR.
Playing with Photo Booth (as usual) minutes before our second consecutive FHE.  Still new to holding Family Home Evening, but so excited that we've finally got it going.
Also note: Julien's first baby injury.  He is the first out of our children to get a bruise this big so young.  He is our most active and determined explorer. You can find him falling and rolling himself back upright most of the time, but this time, it was an awkward fall face-first onto the side door rug.

I made up my mind two years ago that I was going to read some classic novels as soon as the opportunity came up.  I'm lucky enough to have the time now, and I love this goal. I just finished my third novel two nights ago!  Now I just have to decide which one I should read next.
